Recruitment & transfers

Transfers

The club's history of completed signings and sales, built from closed deals.

Recruitment & transfers → Transfers lists every completed signing and departure. There is no separate transfer list to maintain: a transfer is a deal that has been closed.

What appears here

DealAppears when
Incoming (transfer, loan, free agent, pre-contract)The deal reaches Signed
Outgoing (transfer, loan, release)The deal reaches Completed

Own-player deals (extensions and first pro contracts) are not transfers and do not appear. Lost deals do not appear either. A transfer is dated on the day its deal was closed. See Deals and pipeline.

Key figures

The figures at the top follow the selected period.

  • Spent: fees of incoming transfers, with the number of incoming deals
  • Received: fees of outgoing transfers, with the number of outgoing deals
  • Net spend: spent minus received
  • Biggest sale: the highest outgoing fee, with the player and the buying club

A fee is the Transfer fee plus the Loan fee from the deal's terms. Add-ons are not included. See Negotiation and offers.

Filters

  • All, In and Out filter the table by direction.
  • The period selector offers All seasons, a specific season or a calendar year. Only seasons and years with transfers are listed.
  • The search field finds transfers by player or club.
  • Show archived includes archived deals, marked Archived.

The period and the archive filter also change the key figures. Direction and search only filter the table.

A transfer belongs to the season set on its deal. When a deal has no season, the close date decides, with seasons running from June to June.

Currencies

Each transfer keeps the currency it was agreed in.

  • In the Fee column, the amount is shown in the deal's currency. When that differs from the club's currency, the converted amount is shown underneath.
  • The key figures are always in the club's currency. Each fee is converted with the conversion rate recorded on that deal's terms, so totals use the rate entered for each deal.

To record a deal in another currency, set the Currency and the conversion rate under Terms on the deal page.

Access

Every role with access to Recruitment & transfers sees the transfer history. Fees, spend and the biggest sale are only shown to roles with access to financial information: the Football Director and the CEO. See Roles and permissions.
