Contracts and salaries
Contract terms, salary and total package per season, contract decisions, and which roles see amounts.
Contracts and salaries are part of the base platform. Each player's contract is kept on the Contract tab of the player profile, with the salary broken down per season.
Who sees what
Contract dates are visible to every role, because squad planning depends on them. Amounts are not.

Where a role cannot see amounts, salary columns and figures are left out of the page rather than shown empty. See Roles and permissions.
Contract terms
The Contract card always shows Type, Status and Period (start to end date). Other terms appear only when they are filled in:
- Option: option years and the date by which the club must decide
- Transfer % to player
- Release clause
- Agent fee
- Sell-on notes
- Notes
The Football Director selects Edit, changes the fields and selects Save contract. When a player has no contract recorded, the tab shows No contract on file.
A contract is also created when a player is added manually with any of the contract fields filled in (Contract type, Contract start, Contract end or Initial salary). See Squad Management.
Salary by season
Below the contract, Salary by season lists every club season with:

Open a season
Select Add (empty season) or Edit on the row. The form opens below it.
Enter the amounts
Fill in Annual salary, Guaranteed bonus, Appearance bonus, Performance bonus, Signing bonus, Housing, Vehicle, Superannuation and Other package. Leave a field empty if it does not apply.
Save
The Total package is calculated as the sum of all fields and cannot be typed in. Select Save.
Amounts are entered in the club's currency.
Where salaries appear
- Squad Management: Season salary per player
- Squad Depth: salary on the pitch cards and ladders, unless Presentation Mode is on
- Club Overview: Wage bill and Wage bill by line
- Seasons tab on the player profile: salary per season with the change on the previous season
Contract decisions
A contract decision records what the club plans to do with a player's contract in a given season. There are four:

| Last season | Let the contract run out |
| Undecided | Extend or let it run out |
The Football Director sets the decision per season in the Decision row on the player's Seasons tab (or chooses No decision). It can also be set when adding a player manually.
Decisions show up across Agones:
- A label on the player in Squad Management, with a filter for each decision
- A label on the player's row in the Squad Depth ladders
- The Contract decisions tile on Club Overview
- An item in the Decision Centre with a recommended next step
Contract dates in the Decision Centre
The Decision Centre also creates items from contract dates:
- A contract that ends on or before the end of the selected season
- An option deadline in the next twelve months
