Getting started

Notifications

What the notification bell shows, what counts as new, and the full notifications page.

The bell in the top bar collects what concerns the signed-in member: squad changes from Hudl StatsBomb, items that need attention, and activity by colleagues. The Notifications page shows the same notifications over a longer period.

The bell

A dot on the bell appears only when there is something to look at:

  • activity that is new since the bell was last opened,
  • a squad change from Hudl StatsBomb waiting to be applied, or
  • something urgent: an action due today or overdue, or a transfer window closing within two days.

Click the bell to open the panel. It looks back 30 days and has up to three sections, in this order.

Hudl StatsBomb

  • Squad changes from Hudl StatsBomb, with a short summary such as new players in a linked team or targets that now play for the club. The Football Director can open it to review and apply the change. Other roles see the change but cannot apply it.
  • Match data updated, after the nightly check brought in new numbers and recalculated scores. This line stays for seven days.

See Integrations for how Hudl StatsBomb updates work.

Needs attention

Calculated each time the panel opens, sorted with the most urgent first:

ItemWhen it appears
ActionsAn action assigned to the member on an open deal that is due today or overdue. Shown in red.
Transfer windowThe current transfer window closes within 7 days. Red from two days before.
DocumentsA document the member can see expires within 30 days.

Activity

What colleagues did that concerns the member, newest first. Changes made by the member never appear here. Changes made by a data sync appear as made by Agones.

GroupExamples
For youBeing made owner of a deal, or being given an action on a deal
Your dealsOn a deal the member owns: a stage change or the deal marked as lost, an offer logged, accepted or rejected, an approval or rejection recorded, a document added
ClubA player signed, a new contract signed, a departure completed

Click a notification to go straight to it: the deal on the right tab, the player profile, or the relevant screen. View all notifications at the bottom opens the full page.

What counts as new

  • Activity is new if it happened after the member last opened the bell or the notifications page. New items have a dot.
  • Opening the bell or the page marks everything as seen. Items that were new keep their dot while the panel stays open.
  • For a member who has never opened the bell, activity from the last three days counts as new.
  • Items under Needs attention are never marked as new. They stay until the underlying action, window or document no longer qualifies.

Notifications page

View all notifications opens a full-width page in two columns.

Activity from the last 90 days, grouped by day (Today, Yesterday, then the date), with the time of each notification. Filter the list with All, For you, Your deals and Club; each filter shows how many notifications it holds.

The Football Director also sees Full activity log, which opens the complete record of changes in the club. See Activity log.

Permissions and modules

Notifications follow the same rules as the data behind them.

  • Notifications about deals, offers, approvals, actions and transfer windows require the Recruitment & transfers module and a role that can see recruitment.
  • Offers require a role that can see salaries and contract amounts.
  • Expiring documents only appear at access levels the member's role can open.
  • Applying a squad change from Hudl StatsBomb is limited to the Football Director.

Without Recruitment & transfers, the bell shows Hudl StatsBomb updates and expiring documents only.

Notifications show what concerns the member, not every change. The complete record of every change in the club is the Activity log.
